YouFoodz has been delivering ready-made meals across Australia since 2012, becoming one of the largest meal delivery providers in the country and delivering to over 3,000+ locations across Australia. Marketing themselves as a budget-friendly meal delivery service, YouFoodz offers fresh microwavable meals plus snacks and drinks on a subscription-based model. If you want to give YouFoodz a go without making a large order, you can buy selected meals in selected supermarkets across the country.
Menu
YouFoodz has a large, rotating menu thatโs dietician backed and balanced with lean protein (meat and meat alternatives), healthy fats, and good quality carbohydrates (vegetables, healthy whole grains).
You cannot order one off meals, you need to subscribe and choose from a meal plan. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, however. There are four plans to choose from: Everyday Healthy, Low Calorie, Vegetarian and Flexitarian. You then select between 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16 or 18 meals for the week.
When ordering online, you can only see the menu for the week once youโve registered with your name, email address, home address, and payment details.
YouFoodz also has a small selection of grocery items like eggs, milk, cheese and various meats, with prices comparable to local supermarket prices.
Ingredients & Preparation
YouFoodz operates out of Brisbane, and while they do offer a selection of vegetarian, plant-based, dairy free/lactose free and gluten free meals, itโs not a huge selection. They also have a disclaimer on the website that says while chefs take care to keep allergy-prone ingredients out of certain meals, they may still be present as all of their products are produced in the same kitchen.
Delivery & Packaging
YouFoodz delivers to over 3,000+ locations across Australia, including VIC, NSW, ACT, QLD, SA, WA, NT and certain parts of TAS.
You can pick any delivery day you want, with faster delivery available in metro areas versus rural areas where orders are limited to 2-3 days each week. Thereโs no next day delivery, but if you or on Thursday in a metro area, thereโs a good chance youโll receive it by Saturday.
Delivery is $9.99 per order, but they often have discounts, promos and sometimes free shipping
Meals come in a cardboard box with foil insulation wrapping with ice bricks to keep meals fresh if youโre not home to accept the delivery. All the materials, from the box to the wrapping to the containers the food comes in is recyclable too.
Customer Service
YouFoodz has a great customer service team. You can live chat on their website or send a message on Facebook between 7am – 9pm Monday – Friday or 7am – 9pm Saturday & Sunday (AEST).
They also have a dedicated YouFoodz app where you can order and pay for your meals โ available on both iPhone and Android.
Looking at reviews pages like ProductReview.com.au, it appears the customer service team is very active in replying to any customer queries, concerns and reviews – both good and bad.

Pricing is one of YouFoodzโs main selling points. Standard meals are $9.96 each, meaning you can get 7 dinners for the week for just $69.96. Their larger range meals are only $1 more at $10.95. Hereโs the pricing for other items:
