Ingredients
- 1kg Beef mince, 10-20% fat
- 500g Pork mince
- 3 Eggs, beaten
- 3/4 Cup grated parmesan, grated
- 3/4 Cup panko breadcrumbs
- 3/4 Cup milk
- 6-8 Cloves garlic
- 3 Tsp salt
- 1 1/2 Tsp black pepper
- 1 Tsp chilli flakes
- 3 Tsp dried oregano or mixed italian herbs
- 2/3 Cup flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
- Oil for frying

Heat oil over medium heat in pan

Add onion and cook, stirring for a few minutes or until translucent

Add garlic to pan and cook for 1 minute then add tomatoes, oregano, salt and crushed dried chillies

Increase heat to medium high and bring sauce to a gentle boil then bring it down to low and simmer for at least 10-15 minutes

Taste and add more oregano, chilli flakes, or salt if necessary. If sauce tastes acidic, add a pinch of sugar

Serve with pasta of choice and top with fresh basil, parmesan cheese & cracked black pepper
